Hauling a sailboat out of a Titusville driveway

A 27 ft Catalina 27 sailboat had been sitting in a Titusville driveway for three years, its standing rigging seized solid and the sails rotted inside their bag. The fiberglass hull was intact but weathered, and the trailer sat on blocks with no way to move it without serious work. The owner had bought the boat years ago with plans to restore it. Life happened. The boat stayed. By the time he called us, he'd stopped walking past it. We got the boat off the stands, loaded it onto our trailer, and hauled it back to our yard near Melbourne. There we stepped the mast, removed the keel, and cut the hull down to recyclable sections. The whole job from driveway to processor took most of a morning. No title in the drawer. We handled it per the Florida rules. The owner got a document saying it was gone, and the driveway got its space back. We cover all of Brevard County: Palm Bay, Melbourne, Merritt Island, Rockledge, West Melbourne, Port St. John. Titusville sits right in the middle of our regular route, so we can usually schedule pickups within the same week. A lot of boat owners here move their rigs in and out of storage facilities along the Indian River, and we handle those transitions year-round. Call with your address and the size of your boat, and we'll tell you what day works.
