20 ft Sunbird Corsair Removal in Turlock, CA

A 20 ft Sunbird Corsair 205 with a collapsed cover had been sitting in a Stanislaus County driveway for two winters. The fiberglass hull was sound underneath, but the canvas had given way under snow load, and both trailer tires had gone flat months earlier. The boat was wedged between the garage and a fence line, which meant we couldn't angle a standard trailer under it or back a flatbed straight in from the street. We pulled the collapsed cover, assessed the hull, and decided to haul it out on our own gear rather than fight the trailer situation. Four of us jacked the boat carefully, set it on our recovery frame, and winched it over the driveway apron toward the truck. The tight access and the boat's weight made it a slow operation, but we kept it under control. Most of a morning, start to finish. Once on the truck, we routed the Sunbird to our processor in the Central Valley. The hull went into the fiberglass recycling stream, and the trailer stayed behind for local salvage. No title in the drawer, handled per the California rules. We cover all of Stanislaus County: Modesto, Ceres, Riverbank, Patterson, Oakdale, Salida. Turlock sits right in the middle of that territory, so a same-week pickup is standard. A lot of boat storage facilities around here see seasonal moves in and out, especially spring and fall, and we handle those runs regularly. Call with your address and the size of the boat, and we'll tell you what day works.
