Victorville, CA: 26 ft Pearson Gone in One Morning

The 26 ft Pearson 26 had been sitting on stands in the driveway for three years, and the deck core had gone soft around every stanchion. The fiberglass was checking in long cracks, and water was working its way into places it shouldn't be. The owner had inherited it from a relative, kept meaning to sell it, and finally accepted that wasn't going to happen. By the time he called us, the boat had become a fixture he didn't want to look at anymore. The stands had settled unevenly into the gravel, and the weight of the hull had shifted enough that we couldn't simply roll it onto a trailer bed. We brought a crane, set it down on a flatbed cradle, and secured the whole assembly for the haul north toward Fontana. The mast was already down and lashed along the keel, so the profile was manageable. The whole job ran most of a morning. At the yard, we pulled the keel, cut the hull into sections, and sent the fiberglass and metal to the appropriate recyclers. We cover all of San Bernardino County: San Bernardino, Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Rialto, Hesperia. Victorville sits right in our zone, and we move boats out same week most of the time. A lot of owners store rigs in the desert during winter, then need them gone before summer heat sets in. That's when we get the call. We load it, haul it, and you're done.
