Hauling a sailboat out of a Visalia salvage job

The 27 ft Ericson 27 was a fiberglass sailboat with crazed portlights and a stripped interior, sitting on concrete stands in Tulare County. The previous owner had pulled everything removable and left the mast down, but nobody had dealt with the actual hull. It'd been there long enough that the stands had settled into the ground and the trailer underneath was no longer useful for moving anything. We showed up with a crane and a flatbed. The stands had to come out first, which meant digging around the base and using hydraulic jacks to lift the keel clear. Once the weight was off the stands, we could slide the boat onto the flatbed and secure it. The whole job ran most of a morning. We hauled the Ericson to our yard in the valley, cut the keel, and sent the fiberglass hull to the processor with the mast and fittings going to salvage. Title paperwork was handled per California rules. Crews cover all of Tulare County: Visalia, Tulare, Porterville, Dinuba, Lindsay, Farmersville, Exeter. We handle same-week pickups for most calls in Visalia. A lot of boats move in and out of storage during the off-season, and we're set up to grab them when owners need the space cleared. Give us the address and the size, and we'll tell you when we can load it.
