Vista, CA: 21 ft Thompson Gone in One Morning

A 21 ft Thompson 21 cuddy cabin sat in a Vista driveway after a storm surge pushed it off a trailer years back. The outdrive had been pulled but never reinstalled, and the single-axle trailer underneath had twisted so badly it wouldn't roll straight. The boat was fiberglass, heavy, and wedged between a fence and a neighbor's property line. We came in from the south and ran a rotator winch setup to shift the trailer perpendicular to the fence, then used a pneumatic dolly system to level the frame enough to load. Once the boat was on our heavy-duty trailer, we routed north toward the processor in San Diego County. The whole job ran most of a morning. The hull went to the recycler for fiberglass reclamation, and the trailer went to scrap. Crews cover all of San Diego County: San Diego, Chula Vista, Oceanside, Escondido, Carlsbad, El Cajon. Vista sits right in the middle of our regular routes, so we can usually schedule pickup within the same week you call. A lot of boat owners around here move rigs in and out of storage facilities seasonally, and we handle those transitions all year. You're never waiting weeks for an open slot.
