Hauling a sailboat out of a Wesley Chapel driveway

A 22 ft Catalina 22 sailboat had been sitting in a Wesley Chapel driveway for years with the mast lashed down to the deck. The owner had stopped using it long before that, and the swing-keel trailer it sat on had flat tires that weren't going anywhere on their own. Getting it out meant we had to tow the whole rig without rolling it, which meant careful positioning and a truck bed built for dead weight. The crew showed up early, assessed the trailer, and winched the boat onto the flatbed with the mast still secured to the hull. Most of a morning to get it loaded and strapped down tight. We routed it to our facility in the Tampa area where we removed the swing keel, pulled the mast down to the shop, and cut the hull into sections for recycling.
