Marina Boat Removal in West Haven, CT

Marina management doesn't wait forever on an unpaid slip. This Chris-Craft had been tied up for over a year after the owner's finances got tight and slip fees fell behind, the marina finally sending formal notice that the boat needed to move or they'd handle it themselves. By the time we got the call, the account was too far gone to save, and getting the boat out was really the only option left. What slowed the job down was the cleat setup on that particular finger pier, older hardware that didn't match anything on our rigging, so we had to run our own lines through the scuppers instead of trusting the boat's original cleats. Once it was secured, the pull itself went smooth. The Chris-Craft still had a usable engine and decent brightwork, so rather than scrap it whole, we sold those pieces separately before the hull went to a fiberglass recycler. Slip's back on the market.
