Hauling a jon boat out of a Woodland driveway

A 14 ft Jon boat 1436 had been sitting in a driveway in Woodland for three years, hull dented and half full of yard waste, leaves, and whatever else collects when a boat stops being a boat and becomes a storage bin. No trailer underneath it. The aluminum hull was still sound, but access was tight, the weight was dead, and the neighbors were starting to notice. We pulled up with a heavy-duty dolly and a crane-equipped truck. The aluminum frame was light enough that two of us could shift it on the dolly once we cleared the debris, but getting it turned around in that driveway without clipping the fence took some careful maneuvering. We loaded it in under an hour, secured the hull, and drove it to the metal recycler in Yolo County where the aluminum got sorted and processed. No title in the drawer. We handled the paperwork per California rules. The driveway was clear by lunch. We cover all of Yolo County: Davis, West Sacramento, University of California-Davis, Winters, Esparto, Monument Hills. Most pickups happen same week. A lot of folks in Woodland store boats seasonally or move them between properties, and that's exactly when we step in. Call with your address and boat size, and we'll tell you the day we can get there.
