Chesapeake, VA: 21 ft Thompson Gone in One Morning

A 21 ft Thompson 21 with the outdrive pulled and never put back sat on a bent single axle trailer in Chesapeake for long enough that the owner had stopped counting the seasons. The cuddy cabin was still solid fiberglass, but the whole rig had become one of those things you walk past without really seeing it anymore. When the call came in, the trailer was the real problem. A bent axle means the boat won't roll straight, and straight is what you need when you're pulling something that size through a residential lot and onto the truck.
