Leesburg, VA: 23 ft Rinker Gone in One Morning

A 23 ft Rinker 232 with a cuddy cabin showed up in a Leesburg yard behind a detached garage. The gelcoat had crazed into a road map of hairline cracks, and the fiberglass hull was soft in places where sun and moisture had done their work. The trailer had been parked long enough that both hubs had seized solid, and the tires had gone flat years ago. The owner had bought it thinking he'd take it out on the water every other weekend. That was a decade back. Life changed, the boat stayed, and eventually he stopped walking around it. When we arrived, the challenge wasn't the boat itself but the trailer. We couldn't roll it. The hubs wouldn't budge, and the yard access from the street was tight, with a narrow gate and a dogleg turn that wouldn't fit a standard wrecker rig. We brought in a smaller unit, winched the entire assembly, boat and trailer together, straight out to the truck bed, and hauled it under an hour. The Rinker went to the recycler in Loudoun County. No salvage value. The hull was cut down and processed. Crews cover all of Loudoun County: Ashburn, South Riding, Sterling, Brambleton, Stone Ridge, Broadlands. We schedule most pickups the same week you call. Leesburg sees seasonal traffic, especially spring and fall when boats move in and out of storage, so we keep the schedule flexible to get you loaded and hauled without the wait.
