Hauling a cuddy cabin out of a Dunwoody driveway

A 20 ft Sunbird Corsair 205 was sitting in a driveway in Dunwoody with its cover collapsed under snow two winters back. The fiberglass hull had taken on water, the trailer had two flat tires, and the whole rig had been parked long enough that the neighbors had stopped mentioning it. The owner called because he'd finally decided to move on from it. The real problem wasn't the boat itself. It was the trailer. Both tires were dead, the frame was sunk into the driveway gravel, and the access to the street meant backing through a narrow gate with maybe six inches of clearance on either side. We couldn't roll it out. We brought in a flatbed, lifted the entire trailer off the ground, and winched it straight onto the deck. The whole job ran under two hours. From there we routed the hull to our DeKalb County processor for responsible breakdown and recycling. Crews cover all of DeKalb County: Atlanta, Stonecrest, Brookhaven, Tucker, Redan, Chamblee. We pick up same week in most cases, and we see a lot of seasonal traffic here, boats moving in and out of storage facilities around the county. You call with the address and boat details, we quote you flat, and we schedule the haul. That's the process.
