Storage Lot Boat Removal in Eagle River, Wisconsin

Up near Eagle River, a storage lot had one more Alumacraft jon boat than anyone could explain, left behind when a lease changed hands between two people who never actually spoke about the contents. The previous tenant had used it for fishing on nearby lakes, stopped coming up as often after a health scare, and eventually let the storage payments lapse without ever coming back for anything left inside. The barn owner's lot needed clearing after an insurance walkthrough flagged the clutter as a hazard. What made the pickup easy in one sense and hard in another was the lot itself, packed tight with other stored items, so getting a truck close enough meant threading between a camper and a stack of docks with only a few inches to spare on either side. We eased through slow. Since it was under sixteen feet, no title was ever required on this one, so we processed it on the lot operator's authorization and recycled the aluminum hull whole.

Crews cover all of Vilas County: Eagle River, Boulder Junction, Manitowish Waters, Conover, Presque Isle, Sayner, Saint Germain, and Phelps all sit inside our regular Northwoods route. Storage lot pulls here are common given how many boats get parked for the off season and never picked back up. Oneida County gets the same coverage, so a call from Rhinelander or Minocqua rides along on the same trip.
