El Monte, CA: 17 ft Sea Nymph Gone in One Morning

A 17 ft Sea Nymph 175 aluminum fishing boat sat in an El Monte driveway for three years. The console wiring had been chewed apart by rodents, the gauges were dead, and the trailer tires had flat-spotted so badly they wouldn't roll. The owner had inherited it from his father and kept meaning to fix it. He never did. We got the call on a Tuesday. The boat was wedged between the garage and a fence, and the trailer axle had seized. We couldn't tow it out without breaking something. The crew jacked the frame, replaced the axle assembly on-site, and then winched the hull backward onto our equipment. The whole job ran under two hours. We hauled the Sea Nymph to the metal recycler in Los Angeles County, where the aluminum hull and frame got processed for scrap. The driveway was empty by Thursday. Crews cover all of Los Angeles County: Los Angeles, Long Beach, Santa Clarita, Glendale, Lancaster, Palmdale. We move boats the same week you call in most cases. A lot of what we haul out of El Monte are fiberglass rigs people stored for a season or two, then realized they weren't coming back to. We've got the routes dialed in and the equipment staged to turn around fast.
