Elk Grove, IL: 17 ft Glasspar Seafair Gone in One Morning

A 17 ft Glasspar Seafair sat in a driveway in Elk Grove for years, its gelcoat chalky and hull showing deep cracks that no restoration could fix. The vintage trailer underneath had collapsed so far the frame was sitting on concrete blocks. The boat wasn't going anywhere on its own, and neither was anyone who tried to move it without proper equipment. We pulled up on a Tuesday morning with a heavy-duty trailer and a crane winch mounted on the truck bed. The collapsed trailer meant we couldn't roll it out, so we lifted the hull directly off the blocks and set it onto our rig. The whole job ran under two hours. Once we had it secure, we routed the Glasspar to our processor in Cook County where the fiberglass gets shredded and recycled. Crews cover all of Cook County: Chicago, Proviso, Maine, Elgin, Hanover, Orland. We move boats out of Elk Grove storage facilities and residential driveways most weeks, and we can usually schedule pickups within days, not weeks. A lot of owners store their rigs through the winter or after a season ends, and when they're ready to move on, we're the call that gets it done and off the property fast.
