Encinitas, CA: 24 ft Bayliner Gone in One Morning

A 24 ft Bayliner 2455 Ciera sat in a driveway in Encinitas for three years. The cabin cruiser had a green algae line running the waterline and chalky white hull where the sun had hammered it. The tandem axle trailer underneath had rusted so badly the frame was soft in spots. The owner had bought it for weekend trips down to San Diego County. Life changed. The boat didn't. Getting it out meant dealing with a trailer that couldn't be trusted to roll. The driveway was tight, bordered by a fence on one side and a garage on the other. We came in with a rotator and heavy-duty recovery straps, lifted the hull off the frame to take the weight off those rusted axles, and loaded the whole thing as one piece onto a flatbed. Most of a morning from arrival to departure. The Bayliner went to the processor. The fiberglass got sorted, the aluminum trim and hardware salvaged, and what couldn't be recovered got shredded down. The trailer went to the scrap yard separately. Driveway's clear now. Crews cover all of San Diego County: San Diego, Chula Vista, Oceanside, Escondido, Carlsbad, El Cajon. We pull boats same week in most cases, whether you're in Encinitas or anywhere else in the county. A lot of our work here is seasonal, people move boats in and out of storage facilities ahead of winter swells or summer trips that never happen, and that's when we show up with the trailer.
