Hauling a bowrider out of a Kansas City storage lot

A 20 ft Galaxy 2000 bowrider was sitting in a Wyandotte County yard, and whoever owned it before had started taking it apart and never finished. Hull was exposed in patches, the interior was gutted, and there was no trailer underneath it. The boat had been parked there long enough that the grass had grown around the bunks, and the neighbor in Edwardsville was starting to ask questions. We showed up with a crane and a flatbed. The boat was solid fiberglass, so it wasn't going anywhere on its own, but getting it out meant lifting it straight up and over a fence line that sat maybe fifteen feet from where it was resting. No room to back a trailer in, no way to drag it without tearing up the property. We rigged it, lifted it clear, set it on the bed, and secured it in under two hours. The Galaxy went to our processor in Kansas City, where the fiberglass was separated and the metal was recycled. The yard got its space back. We cover all of Wyandotte County: Kansas City and Edwardsville. Most pickups happen within the same week you call. A lot of the boats we pull in this area are seasonal moves, people clearing storage units before winter or pulling rigs out of yards after the spring thaw. We show up with a trailer, load it, and haul it to the approved recycler or salvage yard. That's the whole job.
