Marina Boat Removal in Kingsland, GA

Coastal Georgia marinas deal with the same problem as everywhere else, boats that outlast their owners' interest. This Formula had been sitting in its slip for nearly two years after the owner moved out of state and never arranged to have it hauled or sold before leaving. The marina kept billing on autopay for a while, but once that card expired, the balance just built up unpaid until a letter arrived from the marina's office warning the account would be handed over for collection. By the time we got the call, taking the boat off their hands was the simplest fix for everyone. The channel leading to that slip ran shallow at low tide, shallower than our trailer's clearance allowed, so we had to time the whole pull around a rising tide instead of working our normal schedule. Once the water came up enough, the haul itself went quick. The fiberglass hull was in decent shape structurally, so a recycler that handles larger hulls took it whole. Slip's back on the market.
