27 ft Cal Removal in Lee's Summit, MO

A 27 ft Cal 27 sailboat was sitting on wooden stands in a driveway in Lee's Summit, and it had been there long enough that the mast corroded at the step and the boom went missing. The owner had inherited it from a relative, held onto it for a couple of years thinking he might restore it, then realized that wasn't going to happen. By then the fiberglass hull had started to show stress cracks, and the whole rig looked like it belonged in a salvage yard, not a residential lot. We got the call on a Tuesday. The trailer was on stands, not wheels, which meant we couldn't just hook it and drag it out. We set up a heavy-duty lift frame under the keel, raised the whole assembly clear of the stands, and rolled it onto our recovery trailer over the course of a morning. The route out toward Belton was tight but passable. Once we had it at the yard, we pulled the keel, cut down what was left of the mast, and sent the hull to the processor for recycling. Fiberglass goes back into resin, metal gets sorted, and the driveway in Lee's Summit is clean. Crews cover all of Cass County: Kansas City, Belton, Raymore, Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, Greenwood. We schedule most pickups within the same week you call. A lot of boats in the Lee's Summit area come out of winter storage or go into it, and we handle both moves. You tell us the address and what you've got, we quote you flat, and if you say yes, we show up on the day we promised.
