Hauling a cabin cruiser out of a Levittown driveway

A 24 ft Maxum 2400 SCR sat in a Levittown driveway for seven years. The cabin cruiser's hull had chalked white, and the transom had gone soft. The trailer frame was rust through, the tires flat and cracked. The boat hadn't moved since the owner stopped using it, and by then, it was just part of the landscape nobody talked about. We showed up on a Thursday morning. The driveway was narrow, and the trailer couldn't roll. We brought a hydraulic lift and loaded the hull directly onto our flatbed, bypassing the trailer frame entirely. The fiberglass was compromised but still intact, so we secured it low and tight. It took under two hours from arrival to departure. The Maxum went to our processing facility in Bucks County, where the hull was cut down for recycling.
