Harrisburg, PA: 18 ft Renken Gone in One Morning

An 18 ft Renken 180 bowrider sat in a driveway in Lower Paxton with plywood flooring that had gone soft and crumbly. The trailer underneath had dry-rotted tires and hadn't moved in years. The owner had bought it thinking he'd use it, but life happened, and the boat just stayed parked. When we arrived, the first problem was obvious: the trailer tires wouldn't roll without risk of collapse, and the soft floor meant we couldn't trust the weight distribution if we tried to drag it out whole. We brought a heavy-duty dolly system and broke the load into manageable pieces. The crew pulled the hull away from the trailer, loaded it onto the dolly, and moved it to the truck in stages. The trailer came apart separately. Most of the morning was spent on careful positioning and securing so nothing shifted on the road. The hull went to our processing facility in Harrisburg where it was cut down for recycling. The aluminum trailer frame was salvaged separately. One pickup, full recovery. We cover all of Dauphin County: Lower Paxton, Swatara, Derry, Colonial Park, Hershey, Progress. Most calls come in the same week we schedule pickup. A lot of boat owners around Harrisburg move their rigs in and out of storage depending on the season, and we handle those transitions. You call with the address and a description. We quote you. You say yes, and we show up when we said we would.
