A 27 ft Cal 27 sat on stands in Cook County with the boom gone and the mast corroded at the step. The owner had stopped using it years ago, and it had become a fixture in the yard, slowly weathering into something he didn't want to look at anymore. The trailer was on concrete blocks, not wheels, which meant we couldn't just hook and haul. We brought a crane to lift the hull off the stands, then positioned a flatbed underneath.
