34 ft Silverton Removal in Milwaukee, WI

This one was a 34 ft Silverton 34, a fiberglass motor yacht that had sat on the hard for about a decade under a blue tarp roof that had gone gray and brittle years back. The trailer under it wasn't even holding weight anymore. The whole hull had settled onto stands, tires flat or missing, frame rusted into the driveway like it grew there. That's what a decade of Milwaukee winters does to a boat nobody's launched. The obstacle was getting it off those stands without the hull shifting wrong on the way up. We rigged it slow, walked the crane in from the street side, and worked the yacht clear in most of a morning, not because the boat was oversized for the truck but because the stands needed to come out one at a time without dropping thirty-plus feet of fiberglass on the driveway.
