Hauling a cuddy cabin out of a Mishawaka driveway

A 21 ft Thompson 21 cuddy cabin had been sitting in a driveway near Mishawaka for three years. The outdrive had been pulled off and never reinstalled, and the single-axle trailer underneath had bent so badly that one side was nearly touching the ground. The boat wasn't going anywhere on its own, and neither was the trailer. The real problem was access. The driveway was tight, lined with trees on both sides, and the nearest clear turnaround was two blocks toward South Bend. We'd need to winch the whole rig back to the street, realign the trailer enough to keep it stable, and get a rotator in position without clipping the garage. The crew spent most of a morning doing exactly that, then loaded the Thompson onto our heavy hauler. No title in the drawer, so we handled the paperwork per Indiana DMV rules. The hull went to the processor the same day. Crews cover all of St. Joseph County: South Bend, Granger, Notre Dame, Osceola, Walkerton, New Carlisle. We pick up same week in most cases. A lot of what comes through here is seasonal storage overflow, boats people pulled out for winter or moved into a garage and never got back to. We handle those calls all year, but spring and fall get busy when people are shuffling things in and out of storage units and boat yards across the county.
