Hauling a bowrider out of a Anderson salvage job

A 20 ft Galaxy 2000 bowrider sat in a Madison County yard where the previous owner had started stripping it down and never finished. No trailer, half-dismantled, fiberglass hull still intact but worthless as a boat. The owner had moved on, the boat stayed put, and after a couple years it became clear nobody was coming back for it. Getting it out meant we couldn't use the usual trailer route. We brought a hydraulic lift and a flatbed, set up blocking to stabilize the hull, and loaded it as a dead weight. The fiberglass was heavy, the access was tight, and we spent most of a morning working it into position and securing it for the haul east toward our processor. Once it was strapped down, we routed it out of Madison County and into the recycling stream where the hull gets cut and sorted. Crews cover all of Madison County: Elwood, Alexandria, Pendleton, Ingalls, Lapel, Edgewood. We handle pickups same week most of the time, depending on the route. A lot of calls come in spring when people pull boats out of storage, and again in fall when they're shutting things down for the season. We know the roads around Anderson well enough to move a 20-footer without drama.
