Gary, IN: 18 ft Renken Gone in One Morning

An 18 ft Renken 180 bowrider was sitting in a driveway in Gary with the floor plywood crumbling at every step. The fiberglass hull was still intact, but nothing below the gunwale was going anywhere on its own. The trailer hadn't moved in years,dry-rotted tires, rusted axle, the whole rig seized in place. We knew the driveway was tight, neighbors close, and the only way out ran past a low-hanging power line toward Hammond. No way to back a full-size recovery truck in there. We came with a smaller unit, jacked the Renken off the trailer frame, and loaded it sideways onto our dolly system. Once the bowrider was secure, we could winch the trailer out separately and break it down on-site. The whole job ran under an hour. The hull went to the processor in Lake County for recycling. The trailer frame and tires got handled per the Indiana scrap protocols. Crews cover all of Lake County: Hammond, Merrillville, Crown Point, Schererville, Hobart, East Chicago.
