Mount Prospect, IL: 34 ft Silverton Gone in One Morning

A 34 ft Silverton 34 motor yacht sat in a Mount Prospect driveway under a blue tarp for a decade. The fiberglass hull had gone chalky, and the trailer it rode on had settled onto concrete stands, which meant we couldn't just hook and pull. The stands had to come out first, and the driveway slope toward the street meant we needed to set up a secondary anchor point near the property line to keep the rig from rolling sideways during the initial lift. We showed up with a rotator and a flatbed, jacked the Silverton level, broke the stands apart, and got the trailer wheels turning again under an hour. Once the rig was mobile, we winched it straight out to the truck, strapped it down, and routed toward the processor just outside Chicago. No title in the drawer, so we handled the documentation per Illinois rules. The hull got cut and sorted for recycling the same week.
