Orland Park, IL: 24 ft Formula Gone in One Morning

A 24 ft Formula 242 cuddy cabin was sitting in a driveway in Orland Park for three years. The stringers had rotted under the cockpit floor, and the tandem trailer was rusted through at the frame. Nobody was using it, the title had disappeared years ago, and the owner just wanted it gone. The real problem wasn't the boat itself. It was the trailer. The axles were seized, the tires were flat and cracked, and the whole rig had settled unevenly on the concrete. We couldn't roll it out.
