20 ft Sunbird Corsair Removal in Peoria, IL

A 20 ft Sunbird Corsair 205 had been parked in a Peoria County driveway for three years. The cover collapsed under snow two winters back, and by the time the owner called, the hull was soft in places and the trailer sat on two flat tires that hadn't held air since the boat stopped moving. The boat was wedged between a fence and a garage with maybe eight feet of clearance on either side, which meant we couldn't use a standard rotator or pull it straight out onto the street. We came in with a smaller wrecker, jacked the hull off the trailer frame, and hand-rolled the Sunbird on dollies into the driveway's open space. Took us under an hour to clear the trailer, rig the boat for transport, and load it. Once we had it secured on the truck, we routed it south toward Pekin for processing. The fiberglass hull was salvageable for material recovery, so it didn't end up at the landfill. We cover all of Peoria County: Peoria City, Pekin, Medina, Kickapoo, Chillicothe, Bartonville. Most pickups happen same week. A lot of boat owners around here move their rigs in and out of storage with the seasons, so we're used to working around those transitions. You call, we schedule, we show up and load it out.
