Plymouth, MN: 16 ft Glastron Swinger Gone in One Morning

A 16 ft Glastron Swinger with original orange metal-flake dulled to grey sat on a bent single-axle trailer in a Hennepin County driveway. The boat had been parked there for years, fiberglass starting to show its age, and the owner finally decided it was time to move on. The trailer was the real problem. Bent frame, tires that hadn't turned in a long time, and the whole rig wedged tight against a fence line with maybe three feet of maneuvering room on either side. We brought in a smaller rotator and worked the trailer out at an angle, taking most of a morning to get the Glastron clear of the property and onto the bed. Once it was loaded, the hull went straight to the recycling processor in the Twin Cities area where the fiberglass and materials get handled properly. Crews cover all of Hennepl County: Minneapolis, Bloomington, Brooklyn Park, Eden Prairie, Edina, Minnetonka. We pull boats same week most of the time, and Plymouth sits right in our rotation. Lots of folks store rigs in climate-controlled units during winter, then need them moved out or hauled away when spring doesn't happen the way they planned. We've handled that cycle more times than I can count across the metro.
