Hauling a fishing boat out of a Pontiac lot

A 16 ft Crestliner 1650 sat in a residential yard in Pontiac with bench seats stripped down to the frame and the hull packed with leaves and debris. The aluminum fishing boat had no title, no registration, and no clear owner willing to claim it. The trailer tongue was bent at an angle that made towing dangerous without straightening, and the whole rig was wedged between a detached garage and a fence line with maybe two feet of clearance on either side. We brought a smaller recovery truck and a hand winch setup instead of our standard rig. The crew worked the Crestliner out sideways first, using come-alongs to ease it past the garage corner, then we straightened the trailer tongue enough to secure it for transport. The whole operation took most of a morning. No title in the drawer, handled per the Michigan rules. Once we cleared Farmington Hills on the route north, the aluminum hull went to the metal recycler, and the trailer frame followed.
