Marina Boat Removal in Poulsbo, Washington

Marina management called about a Chris-Craft in Poulsbo that hadn't paid moorage in longer than anyone could remember, ever since the owner moved out of state and stopped keeping up with the account. Before that, an engine rebuild had stalled halfway through, parts ordered and never installed, so the boat sat dead in the water the whole time the bills kept accruing. Nobody local had authority to deal with it until the marina tracked down a family contact who agreed to sign it over rather than keep covering fees on a boat nobody used. Getting a wooden-hulled cruiser with a half-finished engine bay out of a slip without power meant towing it by hand to open water before we could load it at the ramp, slow going against a stiff Sound breeze. Once loaded, we found enough of the original hardware worth pulling before the hull went to the recycler.

Crews cover all of Kitsap County: Poulsbo, Bremerton, Port Orchard, Silverdale, Kingston, Bainbridge Island, Indianola, and Seabeck all sit inside our regular Puget Sound route. Marina and moorage work is a steady share of the calls here, given how many slips line this stretch of the Sound. Mason County gets the same coverage, so a call from Shelton or Belfair rides along on the same trip.
