Hauling a aft cabin cruiser out of a Rich storage lot

A 28 ft Carver 28 aft cabin cruiser had been sitting on stands in a Cook County yard for years, its windows long since failed and the interior rotted down to the stringers. The fiberglass hull was sound enough, but the boat had become a fixture nobody wanted to look at anymore. Trailer was sitting on concrete blocks, which meant we couldn't just hook and haul. We staged a crew to assess the weight and access. The boat was heavy, the stands were rusted solid, and the yard had tight fencing that ruled out a direct pull toward the road. We jacked the hull off the stands, set it on temporary blocking, and backed a heavy wrecker in from the Proviso side to angle the pull away from the property line. Once the trailer cleared the concrete, we loaded it on the deck and had the whole job wrapped under a morning's work. The Carver went to the processor in Cook County where the hull was cut down and the recyclable materials separated out. Title paperwork was handled per Illinois rules. The yard was clear.
