16 ft Smoker Craft Removal in West Bloomfield, MI

A 16 ft Smoker Craft 16 had been sitting under pine trees in West Bloomfield for so long that green stain covered the entire aluminum hull. The fishing boat hadn't moved in years, and there was no title in the drawer. The trailer tongue jack was bent, which meant the rig couldn't be towed out the way most jobs leave the property. The homeowner called us on a Tuesday. We showed up that Friday with a flatbed and a recovery winch. The bent jack meant we couldn't use the trailer hitch the normal way, so we backed the flatbed close, rigged a come-along to the frame, and lifted the whole rig straight onto the deck. The Smoker Craft was heavy for its size, but under an hour from arrival to straps tied down. We hauled it out through Farmington Hills and on to the metal recycler, where the aluminum hull got sorted and processed. Crews cover all of Oakland County: Farmington Hills, Rochester Hills, Southfield, Waterford, Novi, Pontiac. We pick up same week in most cases. A lot of the calls come in late fall when people pull boats out of storage before winter, or early spring when they're moving them back in. We've hauled smokers, pontoons, and fishing rigs from West Bloomfield driveways and marinas for years. One call tells us the address and size. We quote flat. You say yes, and we show up with a truck and a trailer.
