Little Rock, AR: 20 ft Galaxy Gone in One Morning

A 20 ft Galaxy 2000 bowrider sat in a driveway in Little Rock, and the previous owner had started stripping it down for parts, then just stopped. No trailer underneath it, hull sitting on concrete blocks that had settled unevenly over time. The fiberglass was exposed where panels had been pulled, and the whole rig had been parked there long enough that the blocks had sunk into the yard. Getting it out meant we couldn't just winch it onto a trailer. We brought in airbags to lift the hull evenly, set it on a deck trailer, and worked around the driveway width by angling the tow rig toward the street. The route out toward North Little Rock was tight but clear. Most of the morning to get it loaded and secured. Once we had it at the processor in Pulaski County, the Galaxy got cut down to recyclable fiberglass and aluminum. Title work was handled per Arkansas regulations, and the driveway was clear. Crews cover all of Pulaski County: North Little Rock, Sherwood, Jacksonville, Maumelle, Landmark, Gibson. We handle pickups same week most of the time, depending on where you are in the county and what we've got scheduled. A lot of folks around Little Rock store boats seasonally, and we see the same pattern every spring and fall,boats moving in and out of storage facilities, which means we know the routes and can turn jobs around fast.
