Warren, MI: 24 ft Formula Gone in One Morning

A 24 ft Formula 242 cuddy cabin sat in a residential yard in Warren for three years. The fiberglass hull had stringers rotted underneath the cockpit floor, and the tandem trailer was seized with rust. The boat wasn't going anywhere, and neither was the owner's plan to fix it. The real problem wasn't the boat itself. It was the trailer. Both axles had frozen solid, the tires were flat and cracked, and the thing hadn't moved since the Formula last came off the water. We couldn't tow it as is. The crew jacked the hull clear of the trailer frame, loaded the boat onto our heavy-duty flatbed, and left the trailer where it sat for a separate salvage haul. The whole operation took most of a morning. The Formula went to the processor in Macomb County. The rotted stringers meant it wasn't a candidate for resale or repair, so it was cut down for fiberglass scrap and recycled aluminum. The yard got its space back, and the owner got a document showing the job was done. We cover all of Macomb County: Sterling Heights, Macomb, Shelby, St. Clair Shores, Roseville, and Chesterfield. Most pickups happen within the same week you call. We handle a lot of seasonal traffic here, boats moving in and out of storage facilities or winter slips around Warren, so we've got the routes dialed in and the logistics down. You tell us where it is, we tell you when we're coming.
