A 23 ft Chris-Craft Cavalier cabin cruiser sat in a Berkeley County lot for years, its fiberglass hull cracked along the keel strip and interior coated in barn dust and debris. The owner had pulled it off the water long ago but never figured out what came next, so it stayed put, deteriorating. No trailer underneath it anymore, just blocks and settling ground that had shifted under the weight. We came out and assessed the access. The boat was heavy, the lot was tight, and getting a full crane rig close enough meant clearing brush along the property line and working around a shed. We brought a mobile lift unit instead, positioned it carefully, and raised the hull clear of the blocks. From there, the crew loaded it onto the trailer and began the haul out to the processor in North Charleston. The whole job ran most of a morning. The Chris-Craft went to the recycling facility, where the fiberglass was separated from the metal and processed responsibly.
