Arvada, CO: 27 ft Chris-Craft Commander Gone in One Morning

A 27 ft Chris-Craft Commander 27 had been parked in a driveway in Arvada for three years. The cabin cruiser had a fuel smell that killed every sale attempt, and by the time the owner called us, he'd stopped trying. No trailer, which meant the hull was sitting on blocks and concrete pads sinking into the yard. Getting it out meant building a temporary support frame, winching the Chris-Craft onto our flatbed, and routing north through Westminster to avoid low-clearance routes. The driveway was narrow and the neighbors' fences were close, so we had to work the angles carefully. Most of the morning went to setup and careful maneuvering. Once we had it loaded and secured, we hauled it to our processor in Adams County, where the hull was cut down and the materials were sorted for recycling. We cover all of Adams County: Aurora, Thornton, Westminster, Commerce City, Brighton, Northglenn. Arvada's right in the middle of our regular route, and we schedule most pickups same week. A lot of boats around here move in and out of storage between seasons, and we handle those transitions whether the hull's been sitting in a driveway all winter or you're clearing space before the next owner takes over.
